Aquarius New Moon - February 2022

My Moon Musings…

The last Capricorn new moon came to guide us into the traditional year and write the story of our year. Then came the Cancer full moon, which asked you to come home to yourself and choose you; knowing who you are, what you can offer, what you are capable of and what you want.

Now bringing us a huge transformational turning point of awakening is the Aquarius new moon.

This new moon is a peak moment for deciding your direction for 2022.

If you are serious about evolving into who you are here to be and what you are here to do this year please, please take this new moon seriously and do the work she’s asking of you. 

This is a new moon that is pulling in the rest of the skies to support her in creating an energy portal that may feel intense, but if you choose to enter into it, will upgrade you like never before. This new moon is an awakening on every level.

First this dark moon will clearly show you what you are still allowing, where you have been resisting change and what is still holding you back from who you want to be and the life you want to live.

This new moon is a powerful new beginning in so many ways. It lands on the first day of a new month and on the same day as Imbolc, the cross the quarter festival that celebrates the first emergence out of winter towards spring. This is also the lunar New Year taking us into the year of the water tiger.

She also falls at the exact same degree and minute as the last Capricorn new moon, which guided us into the year and asked us to write our story of the year. The Aquarius new moon falling at the same degree point is picking up that energy and asking you to now put that story into action and take it into your future. At the Capricorn new moon we laid the foundations, at this new moon we commit to taking action and moving forwards.

It’s no longer enough to want to make change or have a desire or dream that just lives within you – this new moon is calling you to take action towards what you want in your future.

This new moon is asking you to go where you’ve never been before, to free yourself and to awaken to all that is possible for you. The energy around this moon will feel fated, destined, and purposeful and if you can stay in alignment with your truth and your new story it will feel like this is where you have always meant to be. You’ll feel energetic support guiding you to where you need to be.

And it starts here, under this new moon, with you making the commitment now to move forwards towards all that is stirring in your heart and soul. All you’ve got to do is say yes.
